Lawrence Talbot, a cursed writer, returns to his family's home after his brother's disappearance. He reunites with his estranged father and they start searching for his missing brother together. He becomes aware of the terrifying fate that awaits him.
Talbot's childhood came to an end on the night his mother died. After leaving the peaceful, small village of Blackmoor, he spent years trying to forget the incident. But years later, he is brought back to this village to search for his missing brother upon receiving news from his brother's fiancée, Gwen Conliffe.
Soon, he learns of a powerful, beastly creature that is gruesomely killing the villagers in the village. Scotland Yard inspector Aberline, suspecting something, arrives in the village to investigate the incident.
